Kelly Henson-Renoud is the co-founder and owner/manager of The Blaine Conservatory. Ms. Henson-Renoud combines a life-long love of music and dance with an extensive background in business and finance. Kelly has studied ballet and jazz for thirteen years and was a performing member of Richland Ballet Theater. Ms. Henson-Renoud was a staff member and ballet mistress for Bellingham Ballet Theater at Sudden Valley. Kelly and her husband also own Fiberglass Structural Engineering in Bellingham. The Blaine Conservatory project is part of a continuing commitment, by the Renoud Family, toward enhancing the lives of children through out the entire community.
Ms. Lundgren has been teaching, directing, and managing children's programs for 35 years. Ms. Lundgren currently has ex-students performing on Broadway in New York, and teaching dance both privately and at the college level. Diane is a co-founder and co-director for Blaine Conservatory. Ms. Lundgren's education background includes four years of preliminary study in French, Education, and Theater at the University of Puget Sound, a Bachelor of Arts from Cornish and graduate work in Education at the University of California at Long Beach. Ms. Lundgren has been a member of the dance advisory board for the Washington Cultural Enrichment in the Schools Committee and the Spokane Music and Fine Arts Festival. Ms. Lundgren has been funded by the Washington State Arts Commission for an original score for an original choreographic work. Richland Ballet Theater, under her direction, was accepted into the National Association for Regional Ballet. Over the years, Ms. Lundgren's students have been accepted on scholarships or for study at the countries most prestigious schools and companies, including: Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Fransico Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Joffrey II, Ballet Aspen, Stuttgart Ballet, Houston Ballet, Cornish College, University of Washington, Utah, Montana, and Arizona, Bringham Young University, New York City University, North Carolina School of the Arts, and International University San Diego. Ms. Lundgren will teach the upper levels of the ballet syllabus.

Board Members
Blaine Conservatory's advisory board communicates on an ongoing basis and meets once per year to offer advice and consultation to Blaine Conservatory's faculty and staff. The combined talent of the board and staff gives Blaine Conservatory over 100 years of training, education and experience to utilize and implement in our programs for students of all ages.
Ms. Warn, a graduate of Seattle University with a Masters in Software Engineering and a BS degree in Computer Science has studied dance for over 25 years. Ms. Warn was a soloist with and ballet mistress for Richland Ballet Theater. Ms. Warn is currently a software engineer for Boeing Information, Space & Defense Systems.
Noël Mason was trained in Tacoma, Washington by Pat Cairns. Ms. Mason joined the Joffrey Ballet as the company's youngest member at the age of 16. As a soloist with the Joffrey Ballet, Noël danced at the White House for Presidents Kennedy and Johnson and toured the Soviet Union. Ms. Mason's principal roles in New York included works by Joffrey, Arpino, Tetly, Ailey, Sokolow, and Balanchine. Returning to the Northwest, Ms. Mason has been on the faculty of Cornish College and ballet mistress at Pacific Northwest Ballet. Ms. Mason has been a member of the Washington State Arts Commission as well as the Washington State Cultural Enrichment Program. Ms. Mason and Ms. Lundgren studied together and have been friends since childhood.
As a performer, Kara Marie has graced the stages of Radio City Music Hall, the Metropolitan Opera House, the 2002 Olympic Medals Plaza, the NY City Center, Broadway's Marriott Marquis and St. James Theater. Her television appearances include the MTV Video Music Awards, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Music Videos, and commercials. Ms. Sandberg has worked with numerous Broadway directors and choreographers. Kara's choreographic work includes two PBS Great Performances commercials, and live industrial shows for Panasonic, Samsung, Aetna, and Choice Hotels. She has also taught and choreographed for Universities and The Rockette Experience. Kara Trained in Los Angeles at the Peninsula School of Performing Arts with Diane Lundgren, spending summers on scholarship at Seattle's Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Ms. Sandberg holds a Bachelors degree in Business.
Mr. Gordon has studied ballet for over ten years, primarily under the instruction of Diane Lundgren. As a ballet student, Andrew was awarded summer scholarship classes at Pacific Northwest Ballet School and Summer Dance Lab. Walla Walla. As a music student Andrew studied at the Interlochen Art Camp, Eastern Music Festival, and the Victoria Music Festival. Mr. Gordon, who holds a degree in music performance, lives in Seattle and works in software development as a technical product manager.
